Just been having a look at these in a mag and its made wonder whether they are legal in matches. NFA rules state all self striking devices are illegal. Advert in A/T Dec 6 th page 40 or at www.gjd-fabrications.co.uk

Hi Frank Most matches these days are run to fishery rules/ club rules If you are fishing under NFA rules, just leave the auto-strike at home Would you ban spray bars too? After all that is an automatic aid to anglers that are less capable of multi-tasking ;D

as it isnt a self striking device as such (you have to 'operate' it, by foot) I would have thought there was no problem at all.
