thinking of either getting the garbolino super league or the G796 fish most of the summer for carp then winter on the canals and river any one use either of these poles which one would you recommend with the 796 being slightly cheaper means i could get a few more top kits

Snowy, Both will do the job.
The SL is proven but it is now a year or so out of date, whereas the G796 is new. If I was in the market I would probably go for the G796 (or similar) simply because it is newer - I am thinking of availability of spares for 5 years. However, I have the SL and think it's great; perfect for catching plips across the cut and mixed bags on the rivers. I even use it with no worries on the carp-infested puddles!
