I tried everything I had on the day, only netting 1 Carp, 1 Skimmer, 1 Chub and 1 Perch. With so little happening I must admit to "nodding" once or twice, the second time I decided I would be better off at home in bed . I had booked Sunday day off to fish but got called out unexpectedly to provide "sick" cover on Saturday night

I will compromise at Elmdon now and only use my old pole just in case of further accidents, I'm luckily still quids in this year as I have had a decent run of pick ups, including a golden peg win ;D
