Well done Eric that was a fairly emphatic win. Me well I drew the right peg number just not the right pool, as John as already posted there was still ice in the margins and it was all a bit of a struggle and 8 perch for 7oz was the best I could muster, mind you after having no sleep due to a raging ear infection I was suprised that I caught that much. Roll on summer

Nice one Eric, just need to draw that bonus peg. Next peg was the bonus, peg 9 . Felt a bit sorry for him as he managed 1 skimmer, either side was 1st and 2nd in match, thats how a £200 golden pot can affect a peg

Roll on summer Brian, I had the last peg in the bag and at first thought I was on main pool and quite fancied it, just shows how wrong I was . Peg 8 on silver was probably just about the best draw yesterday though I did fancy 7,9, 10 or better still 13 after last weeks winter league, 13 did fish 3rd overall yesterday.

Eric I was peg 7 on the main pool hence my comment right number wrong pool I think you might have been asleep if you had drew 8 on there, Peter Beavington who did was fishless with less than 1/2 an hour to go. Good job it was the Fur and Feather for I think that many would have packed in. I weighed the pool in which did not take long only saw 2 skimmers no carp a few small roach and the main weight was mainly small chub, it was a good job that we used the 2 pools just think how the weights would have been if we had all been on the main pool.

YES, good job we had both pools in again, from memory it was won off silver 2 years back, I think? Either Keith or Micky Palfrey?

Last year the top weight on the silvers pool was Darren Mills who was opposite me either peg 8 or 9 and, Me and Davewhittington fished those two pegs 2 weeks ago and bagged up whilst the pegs opposite stuggled a bit. Without doubt it where you need to be in winter, what did you catch on Eric?

I fed a couple of balls of groundbait at the start and fished red maggot, pellet and fluoro pinkies over the top @ 13 metres, also fed a 6m line wih micro pellet where I had a couple of skimmers in the last 1/2 hour on 4mm expanders. funnily enough same tactics as last week-end in the winter league, think I fed too much though last week with the ice on the water
