May 10th 3hr match 6pm to 9pm 1st Chris Hoarsely Peg 53 53lb 14oz of which 35lb 8oz was BREAM. 2nd John Dobbie Peg 7 49lb 4oz of which 19lb 14oz was BREAM 3rd Dave West peg 51 46lb 1oz of which 11lb 1oz was BREAM 4th Martin Paynter peg 11 37lb of which 9lb 1oz was BREAM 5th Fred Coxon peg 49 22lb 9oz 6th Pete Palmer peg 5 15lb 12oz 7th Vince Atkinson peg 3 15lb 1oz 8th Ray Gregory peg 9 12lb 1oz 9th Alec Wilson peg 55 11lb 10oz 8dr 10th Martin McGurk Peg 47 8lb 3oz 8dr 11th Jon Bromley DNW. John Dobbie was catching from the off and stormed into the lead fishing 7m. Chris Horsely started to play catch up in the last two hours and overtook him by one good Bream. Dave West despite having his personal trainer with him was two bream behind at the end. Particularly good session considering it was for three hours and that pleasure anglers had been allowed on the bank before the start of the match. 11 pegs of which 7 stayed and fished in atrocious wet and windy conditions.

The fish were there but presentation was severely challenged by the driven rain and the white water. Well done to those that stuck it out...
And they said they would be back for more but not the weather.!
