19 hardy souls turned up on a typical Heronbrook day... (p***** down). expectations were high.... Winner Mark C 17-0-0 Peg 6 2nd Andy Peters (portway) 14-0-0 peg 21 3rd Mark Bennett (poolsfodder) 11-14-0 peg 16 The fish didnt want to feed, very few stockies/F1, the 'odd' lump showed..... Very Disappointing.

Certainly seems a bit of a grueller, by Heronbrook standards anyway . Nice to see you and Mark in the frame, and it took Andy to split you up . Where did most people find their fish and where did the lumps show up? Eric

a lot of people didnt find any.....
only 2 or 3 lumps on whole lake, rumoured to be foul hookers, one shallow on track, two into corner....
very little across, apart from MC!

Peg 16 Mark wasn't the wind blowing it to it on Saturday you should of emptied it. Only joking mate ;D ;D I was on meadow on Saturday and your right it didn't fish too well, ( I had 25lb I think) Neil reckoned it was that thunderstorm we had in the night, but I think the fish had other things on their minds. ;D ;D Island did fish a little better but i the again it always does.

I took 70% of my fish tight across having to float 16.5 metres of pole right into the reeds Only had 2 carp 1 a stockie the other about 3lb the rest of the fish from across being chub. At 15m on the deck I caught lots of small fish, including skimmers, roach, perch, gudgeon and a tench, alternating between caster & pellet hookbaits. It was hard work shipping out the pole at that length in poor wet conditions, my hands looked like I'd spent the day washing up for a restaurant ;D ;D

Cheers mate but I running out of excuses. ;D ;D While we are on the subject of excuses how did C.J.A get on ;D ;D ;D? And Mark you should be ashamed of yourself floating the pole thats not fishing. I thought only Bobby G did things like that. ;D ;D ;D.
