It was blowing a hooley down Sycamore at the Jam Factory today, where 19 members battled against the waves for a bite.
Match winner, me ;D ;D, took carp and 1 skimmer on the pole, fishing corn over pellet.

I was on 27, there are some big un's in there. I fished 0.16 straight through to a 14 and got bust 6 times . It must have been the way I tied them as they all broke the line near the hook - a learning point me thinks :

Got A club match there this coming Saturday ;D Looking forward to it, I hope my run of drawing well continues. as the pegs near the carpark end tend to dominate, as your result confirms.

I hope the weather is kinder to you than it was to us - Best of luck, let us know how you get on.
We have booked the Ash pool there next year, never fished it, do you know anything about it?

Redfin, I have fished Ash a couple of times, it's probably the least popular pool on the complex for matches. If I remember correctly it's quite deep, I did win the first match I fished on there about 5 years ago in early April with about 12lb of bream & tench ;D There were a few blanks that day
