Hi Gary, how early in spring are you going? The main methods in the colder weather are either method feeder or pole. I think the method is best fished with single dead maggot (red usually works for me), alternatively try hair rigged pellet / corn. The pole can also be good this time of year if you draw in the deeper areas (lower and higher peg nos and the dam wall). Fish expanders on the hook and feed expanders aswell. If bites dry up, then try a bomb with corn/pellet/maggot over your pole line, this can often pick up a few extra fish. Hope this helps, Matt ;D

I can see that it is a very similar set up to Earlswood carp lake, should have guessed I suppose as it is B.W owned.
