Gary . I' ve never fished woodseats, but come from stoke-on-trent and know a few of the locals who have and still do fish it. I should have no probs finding any info you need. When do you think you will be fishing it? john (madforit)

Hi Gary, Asked in the local tackle shop today about woodseats, and was told. 1.. Fish waggler right across for chub. ( there are brambles right over, the chub grab the bait then dive straight under the cover. 2..Fish a line the inside with chopped worm, with worm on the hook. ( you should catch crucians and tench, you need to fish heavy 14s hook to 0.16 str through) 3..Fish a line at the end of the lillys, groundbait squatt & pinkie. 4.. Fish a 12mt line goundbait & caster. when a swim dies refeed and rest it, if everthing dies go over each swim with a worm on the hook, you should get a tench.
Hope this helps, I'll try to get more info.

Thanks for the info. Lea Hall beat JCB by a point (Aldridge were 3rd). We also had the first three individual places.
Most of the Lea Hall lads caught on the waggler and maggot tight across.
