Total crap Tk. 20lb won it. There carp were spawning and the air pressure was really heavy. None of the fish wanted to know about feeding. There were some cracking chub of at good few pound jut crushing around on the surface. Even the owner said he expected the weights to be down . All the other pools were throwing out really low weights.
On a better day it would of been a different story. The owner said when it fishes 80lb - over the ton can be caught.

Sounds typical of our club matches- every season full of expectation at the fixtures (well i book 'em anyway0 - then we face sudden hoar frosts, get blown off the venues, face floods, massive low pressures and all sorts of unexpected disasters. We just call it the cashmores Curse. I could run a match on an aquarium and summat would go wrong. Same on Sat for us - follwing the poor spring and cool/wet May all the carp at our venue decided it was time for other things...... TK
