hi got a match on maun side the canal type lake there this weekend anybody know hows its fishing and is it still the same methods as last year still working

Anybody thats intrested fished the match i got peg one they have dugs some new pegs above peg 16 making it now a 20 pegger.
The day was realy windy started off at far bank feeding caster fishing shallow for the chubb had 2 chubb that was that for the chubb. Then started to feed pellet over the far side and fished meat on the hook was catching small carp and a few small barbel when you could present the bait properly because of the wind. Changed latter on to fishing at 7meter because could not hold the pole in the high wind start to pick carp on the paste
1st 9.500 kilo peg 1
2nd 7.600 kilo peg 16
3rd 7.100 kilo peg 17
