Depends what section your on. There are some bream areas, roach areas and some chub. This time of year take lots of hemp and caster or tares for the roach. Fish for them on the pole or waggler. The bream and skimmers are on the usual baits of worm/caster/groundbait/feeder. Try 7 - 10mtrs on the pole line. If your in a chub area then you'll need plenty of maggots for the feeder. Chuck as close to the far bank as possible. The area is lined with trees on the far bank.

Fred, We will be fishing the canal mid September for the police national. If you know the canal well when i find out the sections can i give you a shout for more information? Cheers Steve
