i used to live in surrey mate about 7 years ago, i now live in leeds. when i moved i was a non angler as i was 7 and started fishing at 11, iam gutted now though because there is some very good fishing there eg. the river thames, mole and you also have bury hill in dorking, dont know if you know where it is but i used to live in throgmorton road near west fields infant and junior school... my house was behing the monitguel arms which i think is now called the new inn pub. anyway just thought id share that with you, wish i still lived there for the fishing. its a lot better than up here you also have the summer pit!!!

Hello Mark,
I haven't fished the Mole for 15 years or thereabouts. A lovely river even if it did fill up quickly. A week of rain and the Thames would still be clear, while the Mole would be up and coloured!
Sounds like your club is doing well and has the right attitude, particularly with new members and kids.
