BDAA have had a call regarding a helper wanted to aid a severely disabled angler in the Derby area (Buxton). The disabled person loves fishing and can get transport to drop him off and pick up from a venue, however they cannot give the time to help him fish, so he has contacted us in the hope someone can offer some support. Bob fishes with a special pointer which the rod attaches to his head in order for him to fish, so dedicated he is to the sport, he has had this method developed for him as he has no movement of his hands or arms and so can only fish using this method. If there is any one on TA who would like to donate the odd couple of hours to fish with him and help when they can I am sure you would make his day. For security reasons all correspondence will go through BDAA terry@bdaa.co.uk If you can help drop us a line. Many thanks Terry Moseley President BDAA England International Disability Projects manager BDAA/JAGB Level 2 Coach www.bdaa.co.ukterry@bdaa.co.uk

I dont think that its conceivable that a member from the British Disabled Angling Association/ Level 2 coach would wish anyone to consider this thread as a windup, I think, in fact i,m certain that the request "IS" Genuine.
Unfortunatley I personaly cant help but i will be making further enquiries.
