i think that came out wrong,i also do not want any fish to die,but the dogs at Solhampton are a major problem in my eyes.

Our match yesterday was transferred to Boldings due to "pollution" at Solhampton. After Andy geared me up to fish Solhampton!!

ok mate, sorry for misunderstanding,i too have had few scraps with the dogs, especialy the jack russel crossed with a savage lion on steriods,it refussed to let go off my left size 9 hotfoot boot once, but theres a trick hit nim over the head with your nearset bait box including its contenets and hell let go off your feet, but savage your bait box instead......what fun,and people say fishing is boring

When your match was cancelled ,how much notice did Solhampton give you,and did you get your money back ok ? We are down there on 18th June and i dont want to leave it untill the last minute if ive got to look for another venue.

Heard two conflicting stories today, firstly our sec phoned Mr Homer and he said the the fish had been infected by a parasite and the EA had been down their and treated the water and our match on the 8th July will be ok. But later today while fishing one off our members received a phone call from his mate who said that it had been closed for 12 months, not certain if it its not a rumour thats getting out off hand.Think you should contact them

The venue is in fine form, walked round for a couple of hours last week. Good weights in club matches and opens. Have a look at the new Solhampton page on www.midlandanglingnews.com

Good to hear they seem to have it under control, never nice when a fishery gets a disease scare, for the fish, the owners or the anglers
