just had a thought..........I think sending a pm to new members may get em in the swing of things........anything to get em talking I recon many are not sure if they would be welcome so you/we/I/all of us welcome them first.........I was a new member here a year ago and wondered if I would be welcome but got to know that everyone is pretty decent.........just an idea......in fact I am just going to start it off by sending the newest member a pm

Been talking to an old mate today he fishes for Shakespeares canal team very good cut angler said he may join the site. Told him he would be made very welcome.Come on all you members get the word out and point them in the right direction. P.S. Gave me Andy bit of info for tomorrow.  ;D ;D |

Just spotted this thread  should have posted my introduction post here  Maybe have a sticky or a board in its own right for a FAQ.....informing new members that there are noobs as well as experts post on this forum. Maybe mention that we are all ugly Also mention the aim of the site, where most of the TA matches are held and day outs. I am sure there are loads more. Just a thought. |

hi all not really a new member used to be carpcruncher but for some reason wouldnt let me on under that tag so just to let everyone know im alive and kicking and my hand has healed great and im back on the bank
