Could all sites please accept/decline invitation to Intersite Series 2006 no later than 29th January. With your reply could you also list dates where you already have site matches and I will try our hardest to avoid them.
I`ve had offers from a few sites regarding organising a leg. I would preferably like to go with the one above, so can GeoffP (MD) Stu (TA) Pikey (TF/AF) please confirm willingness to do so.
Obviously it will be hard to book until we have definite numbers so 29th IS DEFINITELY the cut off date.Don’t try and enter a site on 30th as you will be told “Go forth and multiply” LOL.
There will be no compulsory pools for this series as I will get some trophies/medals sorted. For this I will be asking £2 per person per round to cover this. Organisers of the regional matches can, if they wish run a super pool but again this is not compulsory.
To make all the collating easier and for those that don’t visit every site Steve/Chavender/Gudgeon Grabber (how many names??) is setting up a web page full of info and will add to it once we know the dates/venues.

As Dave has already let the proverbial cat out of the bag, I can confirm that I have offered to organize the Midlands leg of the Intersite series. Gary is also aware and has no objections. So unless someone else wants to run the Midlands leg...... ....Nah, I didn't think there would be many takers! ; As the Midlands leg will be our "home" match we should look to maximise our home advantage. As such I will be booking a water that we know really well and then, once the other teams have done all their practising, switch waters at the last minute. Just kidding!!!! Seriously though, I will be looking to use a water we know well, and despite my own preferences it won't be a river. One other point. You will need to find a Captain for the team. As organizer I won't have time, or the inclination, to organize who is fishing. Similarly, I don't expect to get into the team. I know how "good" I am and know that there are more than 10 better anglers on this site. So pick your team on availability and form. As soon as I know more I will let you all know. In the meantime if you are interested in fishing for TA in the series (I know there are no dates yet) then please post below. That way I can let WCA know whether we are in or not by 29th Jan. Cheers, Stu

gb, You don't have to fish all the legs. Just offer to fish the legs you can do if you're interested.

Well done Stu for putting yourself forward (or accepting the invitation) to run this one on behalf of TA . I would be happy to go on the list for the midlands leg and possibly others depending, as always, upon dates and venues etc. Not sure we will get 50 pegs at Alvechurch though ;D ;D I would also be interested in the individual event, particularly if it is at Barston again.

So Eric, you don't fancy 50 pegs on the cut fishing for jack pike!
